Last night at the prestigious 2011 Elite Travel Group Member Awards Evening, Travel Club Elite were awarded, 'Ski Agent Of The Year' as voted for by Tour Operators.

Having stayed at a few Club Meds in the past we knew what toexpect from this years choice!
Good service, great food, fun entertainment and most of all incredibleski-ing. We weren't to be disappointed.
Club Med Val D'Isere is a fantastic resort, it's just a shame therearen't more hours in the day to take in the village as well as ski morning tillnight! Club Med location is brilliant, just off to the left of one of the mainruns down into the village. This is a large property and was full when we went,but even so it was well organised, there were enough staff on hand to deal withthe volume of customers, so there was little time spent hanging around waitingto be served. The food in the restaurant was just great, a fabulous selectionwith all tastes catered for and so much of it too! We are fairly fussy winedrinkers, though by no means connoisseurs, however we found the wine verydrinkable. Most drinks are included (except top label spirits, etc) and theyare served in abundance by good humoured friendly GO's. There were lots oflovely extras you don't read about: the after ski welcome on the patio, one daychampagne & canapes, another hot mulled wine & snacks.
If you like to take in the village atmosphere there is a busservice which takes about 5 minutes or you can walk it in about 15 minutesalong a narrow road, which isn't ideal! Or you can ski it easily.
The standard rooms were basic, clean, of a reasonable sizeand furnished well enough for a ski holiday.
The only extras to pay apart from specific spirits, champagneetc is the ski hire. All Club Meds charge top prices for this so be aware ofthat before you go!
All in all I would highly recommend it.

Dear Louise,
Thank you for all your help in arranging a holiday for the girls and me. We had a wonderful time. The weather was unbelievable, probably 30s all the time, we never needed a jumper even in the evening on the water taxi back from Sivota harbour on our evenings out.
Have you been to this club - the situation as expected was stunning and there were quite a lot of people returning for the second, third or fourth time. As expected, it was terrific for water skiing (the girls went once and Sarah was delighted to stand up on her first time) which was very slick and well organised and the rescue boat kindly came and got me when there wasn't enough wind to sail my dinghy back again!
There had been 100+ children the week before, this time there were 4! Steps are a nuisance but we knew about that and our garden view apartment (2x twins, each with bathroom) was on the level with the dining area. Higher up would have been a long way, but very good if you played tennis.
It was fun going out to dinner - harbour restaurants not cheap (50-60 euros for one course with a drink) but beautiful locations, sunset etc. and there was a good pizza place up the main road much cheaper.
The trip to Paxos was well worth doing, nice to see other cute little villages and go into caves on the boat. We could have gone cheaper from Sivota on a bigger boat, but it was very easy going with the Neilson trip, door to door, just 20-30 of us.
Nice people staying as guests, quiet, friendly - all good.
All in all, excellent. Flights which were great for timing, and we stayed overnight at the Gatwick Hilton which had valet parking all in for £179, very very good we could get up 20 minutes before check in, were on time, and enabled Sarah to dash to London and jump on the train to Sheffield on our return Sunday, having worked most of the holiday, but there you are - that's life for people with jobs.
Rosie and I are thinking about a little more sunshine in November, so maybe I will be back again soon asking for your help. She and I do also like Club Med with their great food and international atmosphere.

I never got round to emailing when we got back from Turkey in August, but wehad a great time and would recommend Mark Warner Sea Garden, thank you for yourrecommendation on that resort and thank you so much for yourhelp! The free watersports were great, we all had a go at something! Theonly thing I'd add for your info is that the 3rd bed in the room wasn't aproper one, it was ok as luckily I'm quite small...:-)

Hyatt Regency, Taba, Review
Just wanted to drop you and your colleagues at Travel Club Elite a quick line to say thank you for your help in organising our recent holiday to the Hyatt Regency Taba with Longwood Holidays. We both had a great holiday and really relaxed and enjoyed the whole time we were there. We found the staff very attentive, the facilities spotlessly clean and the location ideal for a week to unwind and relax.We arrived back early hours of Wednesday and haven't stopped talking about the experience.

Tremendous Customer Service from Travel Club Elite

I wish to record our great appreciation for the Admin Departments tremendous efforts to avert what might otherwise have proved to be a near disaster to us personally, when the flight schedules for the above holiday were changed to most inconvenient times, due to unforeseen circumstances.
The Administration Department worked extremely hard and late to find more acceptable flight times and rebook my wife and me and our daughter and her family onto flights, which spared us all (including three young children) the absolute inconvenience of arriving in Antalya very late at night.
We are most grateful to the Administration Department and hope that their efforts on our behalf will not go unrecorded at Travel Club Elite.
