The Northern Aegean Neilson Flotilla - Last year a new Neilson Sailing area was established around Halkidiki in the Northern Aegean. This was such a huge success that a new Neilson flotilla has been added to meet the demand for this area. You'll be sailing the same seas that carried the famous thousand ships of King Menelaus, to win back his Queen Helen from Troy. The hills and mainland in the Northern Aegean are redolent with myth and history. Steady summer winds from the north provide ideal sailing for all abilities.
The Ionian Neilson Flotilla - offers excellent sailing for less experienced sailors in the south, with sheltered waters & shorter routes. Having no more than a few miles between ports means more time for exploring hideaway coves, to drop anchor & soak up the beautiful surroundings. The Northern Ionian presents more stimulating sailing; you'll cover longer voyages backed by steady breezes.
The Peloponnese Neilson Flotilla - based around the Argolic peninsula, which separates the Saronic gulf to the east and the western Argolic gulf. On land, thousands of years of fascinating history are evidenced by ancient ruins. The winds at sea, slightly higher than the Ionian, will bring you past a seemingly endless vista of authentic Greek villages & harbours and evocative places, where the drama of Greek history unfolded. Navpilion, Epidavros, Monemvasia, all tempting the explorer.
